Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Do I need an internet connection in the forest?
No. Woodpile measurement with PolterApp works completely offline. A connection is only required for backups or when you export data, for example via email or to the Polter-Cloud.
What is the difference between PolterApp and PolterApp Pro?
The free PolterApp version lets you use all functions for measuring and recording woodpiles. PolterApp Pro additionally unlocks advanced data exports (email, PDF, CSV, ZIP, Excel) and data import via ZIP.
Who is PolterApp designed for?
PolterApp is used by forest enterprises, contractors, forest owners and service providers who need to measure woodpiles quickly and reliably directly in the forest.
How are my data stored and secured?
Your data are first stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. You can secure them using the export functions or transfer them to the Polter-Cloud for further processing in the office.
